Your Precious Heart

During your self discovery journey you will meet various parts of yourself which come to make up the whole. Inside us all there exists an angry part, a sad part, jealous part, a dark side and a loving side. What we choose to feed the most is that which will be visible to others through our behavior. We all have these parts but choose to manifest them in different ways at different times. Different circumstances triggers different feelings within each and every one of us. Knowing yourself helps minimize the negative inner self judgment and helps enhance the positive change that we are all capable of. The first step is self awareness.

One of the strongest connections you will find on your self discovery journey is that the deeper you dig you are actually connecting to your heart. I very much believe that the basis of uncovering our truest nature and true self is connecting and learning to come from our hearts. When you connect to your heart your inner critic is powerless.

When we come from our hearts we exhibit emotions of love, empathy, compassion, serenity, peace and joy.

Sounds lovely doesn’t it?

We are all capable of manifesting these human emotions and values when we are connected to our heart.

Connecting to others in relationships then becomes healthier, more loving and safe. This is a vital step before entering a relationship. This is what I stipulate over and over to my clients.

Know yourself so you may know others and to thine own self be true.

Questions to ask yourself to prompt a connection to yourself:

What challenges are you facing right now in your relationship?

If you came from your heart what do you think it would want to say to you right now about this challenge?

If you are single, what is your heart saying to you about your love life?

One way to connect to our heart besides self discovery coaching, therapy and what have you, is meditation. Meditation helps silent the mind and hear your inner voice, that intuition which can serve to be your greatest tool.

A great meditation app I use is Insight Timer for those of you who want to, you can downloaded to your phones as well.
